Christmas is full of expectations:
Family expectations
Financial expectations
Spiritual expectations
Emotional expectations
“Picture-perfect Christmas” expectations

But the first Christmas was nothing like anyone expected.

Mary didn’t expect her calling.
Joseph didn’t expect his assignment.
The shepherds didn’t expect an angelic choir.
Israel didn’t expect a Savior in a manger.
The wise men didn’t expect a baby to be a King.

Christmas is God saying:
“My plan will surprise you, but it will never fail you.”
